In this episode, we are welcomed by Rod Bushfield from @whatshappeningintheshop to film and photograph his 1936 Ford Pickup for a feature in the magazine, while we are here we figured we would film a RU-vid Feature for you as well. Watch to get all the details on this beautifully built, classic example, of hot rodding.
Also, head over to Rod's channel @whatshappeningintheshop and check out how he did the awesome paint on this patina Ford pickup.

Reminds me of my ‘46 Chevy Truck. I have a similar paint job. Did it in my own garage, fake patina, left some dents & spent less than $250 on the whole paint job. People love it when I go to shows and always give me compliments on the paint & how nice and well used it looks. I love it and never have to worry about anyone scratching it because it just adds to the character.

@@cruiseculturemagazine But why?

Why Silver Patina paint? When Rod bought the project, the rims had already been powder coated green and they way the rims are, they would be very expensive to get powder coated again. The introduction of any color on the body just didn't seem right, hence the silver paint, Rod is also a Patina guy, just like me haha. So the decision was practically made for him, Silver patina paint with green wheels and green interior!
