Mate there just so fun to work on hard to get parts but that’s just opportunities to mod it too look forward to seeing yo beat on it down the road goodonya Steve cheers
Coming along nicely! My grandad had a couple of Indian motorcycles as back before WW2 he had a wall of death. He also had a 3 wheeled BSA Scout which was modified for the wall and he would go around the wall with a lion! All true stuff! Speedy Joe and his lioness he was called.
wow sitting for so long I'm surprised the tank is there at all. But pin holes show up on old gas tanks and using JB weld for sealing them is the way to go to keep it original. I even have JB kwik which does harden after 5 mins so you have to be fast applying that but it works great.
Bonjour Steve, Funny to see you working on an Indian, my father putchased a street version one just after WW2 with the gear lever on the tank ! Sadly (for me) , he didn't keep it, preferring a car to work and travel with his family. Besides this, chains on the wheel, did you ever see snow around Las Vegas 😁 ? Amicalement, Raphaël
I had to pause this halfway through. Being a certified welder myself, you could have patched all those leak areas with stainless steel rod using the tig welder on a lower heat setting or brazed the leaks with a torch. Throwing a bunch of JB weld and screen mesh is the poor man's way (sorry Steve). You have a full metal shop and welding equipment; I'm confused on your methods.
Can't wait to see what you do with it. Love watching your channel. Hope you show us the work you do to the bike has you bring it back to life. Thanks for the video stay safe.
Hey Steve !!! Great work as always !! 👍👍👍👍👍 If you watch movies --- The worlds fastest Indian _- Burt Monroe from down under will be a joy !! His was a ""Scout "" too !! Land speed record over 200 MPH at Bonneville Salt Flats !!! 🙂🙃😉😊
