Good finds. Like your pocket watch. I've yet to buy one, but it's on my list. Yet to find a decently-priced Omega. Must look harder. West End seem to be an odd company that produced some odd watches but yours looks like a goodun. A Bonklip bracelet as well which is a bonus.

Some nice finds, if you ask me - especially that West End watch, lovely dial, and maybe even somewhat collectible because of the Arabic date complication. As someone else has already pointed out, the strap type is called 'Bonklip', they can get somewhat expensive as well. And what I think the lighter fluid does is dissolve the oil on the jewel, so if it's old and gooey/dried up, that gets rid of that and the watch might run again. But it does also mean that there's more friction on the parts, so ideally you'd want to get it serviced. I think pocket watch services are cheaper than others because of their simplicity, but I can understand if you don't want to spend the extra money. Great vids and finds, keep them coming!

Thanks for watching. I quite like the Bonklip strap. It's simple but effective. Sometimes a little tricky to take off. I had never seen it before so that was interesting. I'm not sure it's worth spending to have the pocket watch serviced interesting to know it might be cheaper because of the simplicity. It's working for now and is mainly just going to be kept in my collection really used so if it keeps on working I'm happy enough for now. The West End watch is very pretty. I like the Arabic date. It's a shame about the stem issue. I'm not sure what's going on there I did get it to operate properly but the crown needs to be almost unwound completely before it starts to work so something is going on. It seems very common with old watches to have winding crown stem issues. I guess they get worn.. again I'm unlikely to wear it as it's two small but it's nice to keep in my collection and as you said I think it has some value hopefully more than £10.
