The 1937 Ford Coupe was an ugly duckling to put it in James Hetfield’s words but the guy loved the car. So he got one and commissioned it to Rick Dore Kustoms. James and the custom shop kept the original design intact but gave it nips and tucks to iron out the ugly bits. The only major modification done to the body was towards the rear where the roof was chopped and given a more curved look. The chrome bits on the car have been restored and it was given a crimson blood-red color. That’s how the car gets its name ‘Crimson Ghost’.
