On a beautiful early morning in rural Derbyshire, enjoying my coffee,it was a treat to see you and your lovely MG on the roads of Colorado, and hear the story….. I have a 1934 Riley, which I enjoy, but I still have a “yen” for one of these MGs.
The the story the song the mountains and the little MG TA almost put tears to my eyes . I just bought a 1952 MG TD and I love these little cars over the MGA , B's and the Triumphs from the TR2 too the Spitfires . I hold a soft spot for the Harold and the much older triumphs like the 1800 and the 2000 .
I hear you with that, I bought my TC almost 4 years ago. I thought I'd tear into it and finish the resto as fast as I did my MGA. Didn't turn out that way but I've got the fire under me again and hoping to be done by the end of July. I decided on a few changes since I started that I wouldn't have thought of when I bought it. The biggest change is the engine/gearbox swap for greater and more reliable hp. Best of luck to you with your TC. Cheers,TC6676.
