The Harley City Collection - 1938 Crocker V-Twin Small Tank
David fired the Crocker up and we were lucky enough to suck in some exhaust fumes and get some video. Here's some information on our Crocker:
An important motorcycle in our collection is this 1938 Crocker Small Tank V-Twin. Our Crocker is believed to be number 31, originally sold to the Chicago area in 1938. In March 1938 Harley made an arrangement with the owner to have their race legend, Joe Petrali, and a Harley mechanic to dismantle the engine of our very motorcycle looking for patent infringement, unsuccessful in finding any infringement or copying of Harley designs the matter was dropped. Many years later, in late 2006, this Crocker made its way to Australia and joined our collection, here today on display at the Harley City Museum.
