This is a beautiful 1937 Otis Elevator. It has 5 stops and 3 speeds. It is driven by a 15HP D.C. Motor which is powered by a 15HP motor generator set which generates 150 volts at 85 amps. Hooked a generator to power boxes and back fed the elevator. Since has been sitting unused. Powered for youtube demos only. Not in use!

This elevator has been featured on RU-vid before. It was abandoned and a hospital in the early 90s. It looks like some repairs were done to it and the door is working much better

Like people have been saying, ive seen this in another video which came out a year after this one. the elevator wasnt in as good condition though
