As far as the puzzles went it wasn't me. I sent the brass punches last summer. Here's hoping you and da' family have a wonderful Christmas season and glorious new year. Tks for videos!!
@@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch I mentioned the punches to let you know who I am not looking for another thank you but you are welcome again. My little contribution to the effort.
Nice hearing that SC work! Hope to see it at one of the plow days again, be fun and interesting to throw that three bottom behind it to see how it does!
It'll be there! I think it could pull the three bottom, the two bottom barely made it grunt! Case are really good pullers, too. They have a longer stroke than most of their competitors, and with a chain drive transmission, they have better transfer of power.
@@jamesdiehl8690 yessir, his channel is one that I watch religiously. I think it looks beautiful and I wish I had the tool and knowledge capabilities that they have!
@@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch Me too! I told him I wish I had the tools he has and the expertise. If I get a tractor, I may have to pay someone to do a lot of the work. All the milling and welding, plus the knowledge.
@@jamesdiehl8690 Milling, lathe work, and welding are truly an artists craft. I have had some experience dating back to high school, but much of it I have forgotten. I am sure, if I had access to the tools, I would be able to pick it up easily, though!
Good to see you Kenny. Hopefully you aren't battling any lingering effects of Covid. Good to see the old Case in action, and thanks for reminding me: I need to call Rudy about an old Webster Trip-polar Oscillator.
Hello, Matt. The only lingering effects I seem to still have are with taste, but mostly everything else is normal. Give Rudy a call, but be patient. He is INCREDIBLY busy, so don't be surprised if you have to call him twice! Lol
That case looked to have no trouble at all pulling those trees out of there. Nice work and beautiful old machines. I'm hoping to start my Farmall M project soon. I'll be using your videos for reference. I don't have specialty tools for many things, so it'll be done the same way that you do yours. Thank you for all of the knowledge that you put into your videos.
Thank you, Renee and I'd love to have updates from you. Feel free to ask questions. I'm no pro, but I have been there done that, especially using limited tools! Glad the videos could help!
I needed this video...heck, WE ALL NEEDED THIS VIDEO! Between the "China virus" and the 4 week plus long election....NO "Rusty Nutz" tractor video is boring!😁👋
Ken, glad to see the old sc earning its keep again, I'm still jealous cause I almost got a 52 sc and it got away, grrr!!!!! Ah there's more out there trying to get my own place one day in the future so I can get more, but that'll be years from now since I'm not even 21 yet, still need to change the pinion on my Massey 25 diesel, but in the mean time I can work on these 2 I've got and hopefully get a video of my cub operating in the near future
Glad you enjoyed, Mike! Keep on working hard, and keep those goals in sight. You'll make it there someday. You are still quite young, buddy. You're doing great for yourself! I look forward to seeing some videos come rolling out!
You would be surprised how much an SC will pull, I've pulled whole oak trees laying on the ground with just an SC, granted mine has bigger tires and more hp from stock
This SC has an overbore kit with high compression pistons, and is running 13.6-38 tires. Originally it would have came with 10-38 or 11-38, which equates to 11.2-38 or 12.4-38. Larger tires can sometimes rob power, though.
Kenny good to see you out and about. Great to hear that Case running. She sure is purty. Best part is you got the logging done safely, and the tractor stayed clean!!. I'll be contacting Rudy soon, he also does period correct spark plug wires? Correct? Merry Xmas to you and yours.
Thanks, Darren. Feels good to get on them even if it is chilly. Rudy is mighty busy, but I am trying to help him work through his backlog. Yes, he offers period correct wires. Merry Christmas!
Always good to see the SC in action! I had to mow my lawn full of weeds, so I had some yard work today too. Hope you find out who sent the puzzles. Neat to see your handy work on the magnetos. Be well and happy holidays! 🇺🇸🚜👍
You’re welcome, Ken! Thanks again for letting us team up with you on the Farmall H Memorial Project! This tractor will bring awareness to the issue of suicide for many years to come.
@@tractorhyatt7044 Absolutely! Thank you, and everyone, for being such a HUGE part of the project!!! I can't believe what we have done. Quite the amazing event!!!
Yessir, you are correct. The early hoods are hard to find, especially for the center exhaust tractors. I ended up finding a later hood during restoration and cutting my own holes using the original as a template. They original hood was too far gone to try to repair. The SC actually had 6 different hoods through production.
@@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch I have a 41, 49, and 54 SC. All still in original working clothes. The 41 and 54 have been in the family since new. 2nd owner of the 49. It's interesting to see the small changes over production of them. I know I have a few spare chrome strips, but will have to dig around to see what early hoods I have.
@@buggin62vw I would be curious to know what you've got. I agree. Very interesting the small changes they made throughout. Is your 1941 a center exhaust? I keep a serial number registry for all 1941's. We should add your serial number to the list. I have been trying to determine of the 2388 SC center exhaust tractors produced, how many remain. So far, I am under 150, and I've been maintaining this list for at least ten years.
@@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch it has the exhaust outside of the hood. I'm going to have to check back with you as far as the number. It's parked for the season at the farm and not sure what the number is off the top of my head.
