Just tonight I won an online auction for a dc-3 adjustable wide front. It's missing the seat and muffler but was stored inside. Winning bid, $190. 😁😁😁

Eric she sounds great I am very impressed. I too think she would be great pulling your heavy loads. As far as looks I think I would try the boiked linseed oil route first She seems in too good of original shape to totally repaint. Your call, no matter hwhat you do, we will be right here watching

My son and I did a Case DC wide front for a high school project. Wish I could post pictures. DC's look amazing when painted.

I would change those nuts on the exhaust manifold to brass as the steel nuts will rust and seize making a minor gasket replacement or adjustment a major project.

Nice job and well worth it for learning and the video’s that you were able to make. As one chap has already said, wash it down and preserve it as is with its well earned patination.

That was a heart breaker with the oil leak. Hope she holds!! Great job!! I really wish more parts were available with these Cases and some of the other brands.

So with all the repairs what could you sell it for? I realize this is your hobby but if I was to consider buying old and repairing or buying new for my hobby farm what would you suggest? I too enjoy working on projects and have spare time.

It’s hard to say. I’d guess $1800-$2200 for this one. If you don’t mind some mechanic work from time to time, I think the old tractors are hard to beat for a small farm.

I am in process of doing my dc 3. Was wondering where you got parts at as well as if you had any leads on a wide front for my narrow front?
@AntiqueCarsandStuff

The best source for DC engine parts (and sometimes the ONLY source for DC engine parts) is "Rusty Acre Tractor Parts" on eBay. The guy is honest and his parts are excellent quality. No leads on a wide front. Sorry. Good luck with the project!

Leave it as it is. The tractor is in too good of condition to strip down and repaint.
