Good choice of chassis. My buddy put a 70's Toyota pu chassis under a 47 Ford truck. Torsion bar front end, 283 and Powerglide fit real nice, 5×4.5 bolt pattern so any Ford or Mopar rim would fit. Rear axle was strong enough, and it rode, stopped, and handled better than a stock 47 did!

There are tons of positives about the truck but I just have to ask, WHY did the builder cut the holes in the rear cab corners for the exhaust and WHY (!!!!) ruin the look with that 70’s steering wheel/column???? It looks great everywhere else but it kills the old look with those mods. Not being a jerk, the truck is bitchen! 😁
