I want to watch you do the door next and how you put the garnish moulding on. Love watching you work

You’re doing a tremendous job! But that’s something I’ve come to expect from you. You don’t take any short cuts! You have me believing that I can do my own upholstery instead of having to hire it out. Please continue to bring us along on this adventure! Thanks!

Nice work. I’m impressed don’t know why I knew it would turn out good. Maybe because one minute your lapping valves and the next it’s upholstery!

Hey Jay. Nice work. I have to do that to my Buick yet. I did the interior in my 57 Pontiac and it turned out quite nice. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍

Greetings! On the previous video I commented that, given your circumstances, your choice of fabrics should be just fine. Now, seeing it installed along with the trim it is better that I expected. It looks just 'fine & dandy, just like a hard candy Christmas.' Sorry, but after saying "fine & dandy" to myself, Dolly's song came to mind & I just had to write it down & share it. Great job, looking forward to the next one already.

Very informative. I have a 49 Cadillac that is in need of rear upholstery. It has a smaller version of the arm rest. What were you stapling to when you were attaching the fabric to the Chevy's armrest?

The armrest base is like a heavy laminated paper or hardboard material. Chevy glued and tacked directly to it, which is what I do as well. Just make sure to short enough staples so they don't poke through! Thanks for watching!
