Love your videos and your work on the old tractors. I had a Jubilee for about 30 years and all it ever needed was an oil change every couple years. I’m old now and really miss those goods years.
Hi Kevin, I'm a new subscriber to your channel, and I just wanted to say Thank You! for all the Great videos. I've basically binge watched all of your 48 Ford 8n and I've caught-up on the 48 Ford "Parts" Tractor videos now too. Tons of great stuff here. Thanks Again.
Unfortunately not. The best we can do is use tire chains. No diff lock until the thousand series tractors in the early 60s. Fordson Dextas and Massey 35s had them in the late 50s.
Hi Kevin I just wanted to to ask you my 8N has a noisy transmission and I would guess it’s the input shaft bearing that you discussed today and I was wondering if that bearing needs to be replaced how would you get it off? I would appreciate any suggestions!
If I don't have a suitable bearing puller, I cut the cage and get it and the rollers out of the way, the heat the inner race and hope it comes off, or cut most of the way thru it with a grander and split it.
