I like the way he restored the wooden handle. I would have just shot epoxy into the crack, and it would have cracked again.

Many great tips here for how NOT to restore this drill. Painted chuck? Painted crank bar? Sandblasted pinion shaft and gears for no reason? Hammering on the handle with the drill on the table instead of in the air? Yikes!
