In this episode 7 I complete the combined preventative maintenance on the 49 Chevy 3100. This PM series details the oil change, cleaned & regapped the points & plugs, read the plugs, set engine timing to max mechanical advance @ 3K rpm, adjusted the twin carbs, replaced the front front Huck brake shoes and adjusted all brakes, checked and added fluids to the transmission, rearend, master cylinder & radiator, rotated tires and greased the steering linkages and chassis. All or most are detailed in one of the 6 segments of this series.
