For Sale is this 1950 Chevy Pickup 5 Window shortbed survivor. Brand new 235 inline 6, drivers perfectly. Well cared for. Hard to find shortbed 5 window Chevrolet Truck. See this truck on eBay.
Thanks for the look back. I had a '50 GMC 5 window in 1967. Loved it. It was a real workhorse. I really abused it at times by overloading it. I would love to drive one now.
I know this is an old video, but.. It's hard to see rust with the truck assembled. I am sure plenty more rust was lurking in hidden areas. Takes a tear down to expose it.
may not be a proper question to ask but I have a similar truck that I’m looking to fix up and I was wondering about how much it cost to get the motor rebuilt and all?
IS TRUCK DRIVEABLE, BREAKS,OIL PRESSURE GOOD, GAS MILEAGE ON FREEWAY. ? SPARE TIRE I LIVE ABOUT A THOUSAND MILES AWAY GUESS I NEED AN EXTRA GAS CAN 😳 ??👍& I WILL KEEP IT AS IS 4 MY WORK TRJCK !! WHAT KIND OF MONEY WILL BUY YOUR TRUCK ?
JUAN GARZA the 54 had a one piece windshield whereas the 47-53 had the 2 piece windshield. The 54 also had vents on the side windows. Lastly, the 54 was the first year they put automatic trans in their trucks.
To add to what was said 3 years ago....'54 had one piece windshield; vent windows in the doors; push button outer door handles; completely different grill that was only used for the '54 & First Series (1st half of the year) '55; different front & side emblems; different style bed; different style dash & gauges. Anyone who looks at the truck in the video & thinks that it is a '54, doesn't have a clue about these Chevy Advance Design trucks.
