1950 CHEVY PICKUP SUSPENSION UPGRADE- Ratrod Upgrades!! Project "Hank" Episode 1 

About 3500 for kit and install, if it shows up with all original stuff on the frame, but usually I tell customers you might as well spend 5k, totally strip the frame, have it sand blasted right away so the chassis is clean, and put the 4 link in the rear right away. The original springs in the rear on these trucks are useless in my opinion, Plus the front end kit lowers the truck, by the time you put lowering blocks in the back to level it, the original leaf springs end up 2 inches off the ground, just doesn't really work out to nice, might as well hit it all at one time, honestly it saves so much time and cash to do it all. I actually have a video to edit soon where I do exactly that to a 51 Chevy truck from a few months ago. Just a complete suspension install on this style truck.

The guy who makes these kits actually does not market them really anywhere. They come from Sparta Rod shop in Sparta Wisconsin. He sells mostly to other businesses and rod shops. Also, yes, they do have one available for 55-59, doing a 58 right now in the shop. Due to the one piece cradle design they actually are designed per vehicle, per frame, to drop right in and weld up. a lot stronger than the 3 piece kits out of the catalog.
