Be still my heart! I owned a 50 2 door deluxe for a short time in the early 80s, did a light restomod at the time but had to sell to pay for my son’s medical bills. My father told me I’d regret it…..I do…..
Very cool Fitty! I have a '50 Styleline Deluxe sport coupe. It still has the stock 216 & 3 on the tree for now but I am going to do a 6.0L LS swap, disc brakes, coil overs and rack & pinion. It'll be on my channel #hankalmighty 👍
Nice build mi amigo I’m currently building a 51 Chevy styline coupe tribute car to my pops that passed in 2018 , it was in bad shape as far as rust and previous owner jerry rigged everything u could think of , but it’s a process and it’s super nice and inspirational to see your car on the road makes me just push harder to get mine done , may I ask what A/C company you buy from cause I’m too old for 65 mph window AC
Thats great your rebuilding it! Mine had a ton of rust too, fortunately you can get a lot of the panels thru EMS. I replaced door bottoms, quarters, rockers, trunk, floors, tail pan and rust repair in both front and rear window frame. Lots of messy work!! I used vintage air for my setup. great quality stuff
Nice job on all of the modifications you made on this '50 Deluxe. Is that a steering wheel and column from a '64 to '66 C/10 pickup? Also, it was hard to see by the reflection in the camera, but is that a Pontiac horn button center?
@@78SilverBronco Thanks. Yeah, I own a '64 C/10 that I restored 25 years ago. I recognized the horn button from my childhood days in the 1950s when my dad bought a '54 Star Chief. Fond memories.
Thanks! I'm using a 73-79 Ford F150/250 V8 gas pedal. I shortened it about an inch but probably didnt need to. Contours the firewall perfect and aligns great with the carb linkage.
