Bravo! I am so tired of looking at houses that look unattainable and look like it belongs to someone with 5 homes and no family life. This home looks warm and inviting and not cookie cutter at all. Amazing job Luke. Show us another house from Luke because he creates livable luxury.
Interesting and very lovely. It looks like a house that was restored and decorated during years by owners with excellent taste and family items. It is contemporary and nostalgic at the same time, and looks authentic and lived in.
I'm in love with the use of colours and textures in this home! It's full of cozy and livable areas, but with a small footprint it's inspiring for me as I refresh my small 1900 story and a half home! I will be studying this video and taking pictures to my antique stores as I hunt around for new treasures!
What splendid design coming from such a young and unique designer! Love Luke Havekes, who has a great taste of interior aesthetics and space management. H&H may want to offer him a bit more interview to expand audience who appreciate this scope of beautiful interior design. (PS: Luke posted the images of this design back in 2020 in his IG, and it's nice to have his introduction.) Thanks very much for this video production.
Wow wow wow- such detailed eye in every room. Vintage to mid century modern. Every room fills with light and is refreshing. Both powder rooms are done beautifully, giving each of them their own character. Very welcoming home.
This house is one of few exaples on the market where CUSTOMISED architecture deserves its name. I can no longer see these high-brow solutions that look live a standard style. Therefore: congratulations to this refreshing style.
my elderly parents would love this. I was never a big fan of mint green, pink of the mid-century, but it's very very nicely done and cozy. Just not my cup of tea.
Wow! Kudos on your design. The Brittanys and Tiffanys that are usually showcased on this channel would slather the whole place in white paint and cover the fieldstone fireplace with bookmatched marble in a hot minute, LOL.
Since I am always teasing and complaining how the H&H designers are always designing all white kitchens, which is predictable and lacking creativity, let me be one of the first to say how much I appreciate and admire this non-white kitchen! This is truly a uniquely designed kitchen.
Interesting! (I think I would place the sofa in the opposite side and that sort of delineates the space between the kitchen and living room. The 2 chairs would flank the bay window.) Nice house!
My kitchen and living room are adjacent to each other in exactly the same way as this house (window placement included). The setup he designed makes for easy conversation between the two rooms and easy foot traffic. It took me many furniture re-arrangements to discover what he already knew.
Great Job!!! Love the colour 🌈 !! The only thing was the pink dining room; on my phone it registers as “peach” and reminded me of the 80’s ....so That was the only thing I didn’t like.
Beautiful and unique design elements...not the standard style furniture and accessories that we see in almost every video. The only things I would change are the appliances. I would have done an integrated dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
The place looks great but that peach dining room has to go…... i love the rest of it though. The wall colour in the primary bedroom doesn’t look quite right and doesn’t seem to vibe with the other colours. Maybe it is the camera…..But again like the dining room, it doesn’t look country….it just looks old and out-dated. The guest bedroom is just lovely…..but the headboard doesn’t seem to quite fit and I think a better choice of pattern could have been made here. I think the guest bathroom flooring could have been replaced, the orange terracotta tiles are not very pleasing in the space. I think that tub/shower combo could have been replaced with a shower only (space permitting). Otherwise I think the idea of creating “its own space” for the vanity was really clever and I like that. The house looks inviting and warm and generally a really lovely job. Well done.
