As far as finish cut a modern mower can’t be beat, I just use the sickle to cut the pasture so I can rake up what I cut and feed it as loose hay in the barn. But since I’ve restored the tractor and the sickle, it leaves a pretty good cut considering it’s not really hay but just overgrown grass that’s about 1ft tall or so
