My H was running great. But it seems like the push button ignition switch has fired. Three have burned out in a month. Any idea what it could be? Could I just hand crank the tractor every time and bypass the push button?
does the ignition switch wire go to the plus on the coil or the minus on my 1948 cub and are these positive ground? Thank you in advance for any help. Paul Beckers
paul b Hello! yes originally these were positive ground. as for the coil, i dont remember. if you look on here, steiners tractor has a few good video about Farmall wiring that says where the wires go
The farmall h can handle the fuel coming from a 300 carb I have heard of guys using the 300 carb and manifolds on the h for more horsepower when pulling
Jimmy's Tractors I knew you were right, but since I’m an old geezer I wanted to mention it. I used to fly an old PA11 Piper and I had to prop it since it didn’t have a starter. Funnest plane I ever flew. Liked it better than Cessnas, Cherokees and Navions.
