I don't know who's answering these comments now but I still watch theses and continue to learn each time I do. The Idaho fabricator is sorely missed. Vr, Bob mason El paso TX
hey- I would cut a hole in the core support to get some air flow and mount it there. under frame has exhaust heat to contend with. Buying those drill guides. Thanks
Mr. Stephen, ive been looking high and looking low. I cant seem to find this unit that includes the thermostat as the one you have. Was wondering where you bought it.
I’m just starting a 53 pickup, really have enjoyed you videos. Thanks for taking time to share them. Your fab skills are awesome. I just got my motor rebuilt and put back together, doing an LS also. What rear end did you put in yours?
That sounds like cool project Ryan, I chose a curry 9 inch with 31 spline axles and 350 gear ratio with posi. It’s always best to roast the tires in pairs don’t you think.
I got the radiator from a company called PRC performance rod and custom I had them build radiator with the stock dimensions but use filler neck sizes to match the LS motor they did a really nice job on the radiator they also put in bungs for the steam vent and temperature control switch.
