There is something amazingly relaxing about watching you work on these projects- I know it's all hard work, like practicing Kung Fu, but you make it look like a smooth natural progression, like Tai Chi, from beginning to end.

Good thing this video was shot in August cause y'all have been hammered this Spring also. I am really impressed with this project. Back in the day, I had an Uncle and Aunt who pulled a teardrop with a Henry J. Would like to have that duo today. Great work Marcie.

The last few weeks haven't been terrible and yeah the August build was warm but we had 3 major hail storms during this process, one resulting in all new roofs on all our buildings! There is a guy here in town with a Henry J, its a light blue, two tone! For some reason the backs of those cars remind me of a VW fastback! ha

Could it be that the the kitchen cabinets gives the rigidity to the fiberglass shell that is needed for the door ? The latches are great, love them! They would fit on the most modern EVs! Would working, welding, fiberglass OK, but the canvas as well? That is really impressive! How can your channel still have less than 10k subscribers? Thank you for continuing your youtube posts!

Yes, all the wood structure provides support and no doubt the cabinet involves the door, which involves the bed, etc...I'm here to tell ya, this thing is a construction nightmare! but dang it's cool! Thank you for your kind words and support...I'll just keep plugging along. I mainly made the channel so my kiddo would have a record of all the crazy stuff we did over the years...long after I'm gone he will be like, man my mom was crazy, just LOOK at this stuff!

Awe thank you...Sadly, we lost her this Feb and she was THE best shop dog ever! It was hard to see her in those video clips but she was such a part of the process no matter what we were doing, so I wanted to be sure to remember her! Here's to all the dogs we have loved and lost!

haha, yes, he was making the best of it for sure! We were frustrated and upset that it was raining and we were trying to get this camper back together and running out of days...I looked over and saw that and thought...well...momma, just chill out and learn to play in the rain!

Sadly, those are the memories many kids today will never have...not my kid! he still digs in the dirt, plays excavator in the driveway and loves a good summer rain!

I used to sell that paint as "Trunk Splatter" paint made by Dupli-color. Great stuff !

We camp in a little 1996 Jayco 806 that I paid $1 for. Not to the extent of your amazing work , but still very enjoyable and older than most we see at our state parks.

Zolatone paint. We painted the interior of our home made kayaks with the brown paint. Pick up beds were painted with that paint before rhino lining.

April showers! Love that! we also thought about "HELL-n" Because we had 3 Major hail storms in the two weeks leading up to the rally! It was like she didn't want to be restored!

28.43 min.in.. - Tell the guy upstairs to be quiet while filming.. 😇 and your hoist seems to be missing two small guidence-wheels on a shaft for the wires, that allows them to move freely side to side so the wires will windup correctly, and stay free of the winding-shaft - so it seems.. just a thought.

haha RIGHT??!! based on the two of these I have examined in person and the patent sketch available online there were no other pieces than what we have....I had that one wound the wrong way...after I redid it no issues...but if you have a picture of one in that area would love to see what it looks like! It is hard to rebuilt when you have nothing to go on! ha There is one at the RV museum in Elkhart and it was set up just like ours...but you offer a valid solution should it continue to fail! THANKS!
