This one is exceptional! We love the colors. It's a very different combination but it works great. It's a retro mod retaining its original style with modern upgrades carefully integrated. Complete body off frame, meticulous and fresh build. It comes with a box of documentation. Genuine Bel Air V-8 car.
EXTERIOR: Very desirable 2 door hardtop. The body is mint. Straight, no rust or damage. Body panels fit right; doors shut like new. Repainted original colors- Harvest gold- India Ivory. The paint is smooth and glossy. The stainless trim is all polished like chrome. The flippers over the doors work. Every piece of chrome looks new. It has optional fuel door guards, rocker trim, dual mirrors and correct antenna. All new soft tinted glass. Upgraded Rain Gear wiper system. Everything is stock except it's rollin on some cool Ridler wheels. 17s in front, 18s in back wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: Restored to look vintage 1955 but has modern upgrades tastefully incorporated. Complete reproduction interior kit including cushions, upholstery, door panels, carpet, headliner etc. Correct tight loop carpet. Bel Air chrome ribs on the ceiling. All the bits and pieces were replaced- kick panels, window cranks knobs etc. It even has factory style a/c vents, the heater controls look stock but are new with electronics instead of cables. The interior metal is repainted smooth and glossy. Upgrades include all new wiring harness with push in fuses. Very cool Retrotech gauges resemble the original but are modern and include a tachometer. The steering wheel looks original but is a smaller diameter for more room. The radio looks original but is modern. Upgraded clock, interior lights work. There are new seat belts front and back, the front has retractable shoulder belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Plenty of upgrades in here. Modern LS-1 fuel injected motor. It has aluminum heads, custom cold air intake, serpentine belt system and stainless headers. Vintage Air heat and a/c system. It also features power steering, power brakes and cruise control. Upgraded aluminum radiator. It looks new in here; every component looks fresh. The metal is painted smooth.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal painted white. Reproduction mat and weatherstrip. Restored spare and jack assembly. It is complete and tidy.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, and it was completely rebuilt and detailed. The floors are pristine metal painted gloss black. The chassis is also clean metal painted black. Fuel system was replaced including the tank, sending unit and fuel lines. Fat dual exhaust has crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The front-end steering and suspension were completely rebuilt, it has an upgraded swaybar. Brake system was upgraded. Disc at all 4 wheels e-break is hooked up. All the body bushings were replaced. Looking up at the motor it still looks new, it has the GM part number sticker on it and a high torque starter. 4L60E electronic overdrive automatic transmission also still looks new with the part number still on it.
The closer I looked, the more I loved it. The amount of thought and pride that went into this build is very impressive. I look at so many 55-57s and this one is outstanding to me. You will not regret buying this one!
