This is a very nice 550 Spyder tribute car registered as and built from a 1966 Volkswagen finished to replicate the James Dean car. This one is outfitted with most of the popular options like 1915cc high performance VW engine with dual weber carbs, added oil cooler, adjustable Bilstiens, sway bars, 4 wheel disc brakes, tuned Magnaflow coated exhaust, red sport seats with racing style seat belts, vintage chrome gauges and more! It feels like a street legal go-kart!

That one isn't meant to be a James Dean replica. It's missing more than just the Little Bastard, its missing the number 130 decals on the doors, trunk, and hood. It's just a replica of a 550 Spyder. Those red stripes weren't unique to James Dean either. They were an option from the Porsche factory that you could get in either red or blue. The silver of course is just a classic Porsche racing color.

Which company made this replica? I think the Beck ones are drum rear brakes, so it can't be them.

Importing a car into Canada is tricky. You can only import it as a kit, not as a complete car. i.e. You have to bring it in as parts.
