I really like the look of this car. The colors are awesome in and out. The stance is great. It has the features that make it a comfortable driver too.
EXTERIOR: Beautiful and unique color combination. Clean and straight body, it fits real well. The metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished glossy. Jambs are painted nice. Weatherstrips were replaced. The stainless trim and chrome looks great. New windshield. It has a great stance and is sitting on a sharp set of chrome US Mags. Staggered size- 18x8 in front, 20x9.5 in back and are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: Great looking 2 tone gray custom upholstered to look like the original. It has genuine leather and cool chrome piping and buttons on the seats. Door panels were upholstered to match. Sharp looking dash area. It has optional padded dash, new trim and a retro stereo. Sharp looking white digital gauges. Custom steering wheel. The a/c controls look like the originals, the vents are neatly installed below. On the floor it has the premium tight loop carpet with bound edges, mats and a Lokar floor shifter. Headliner and visors were redone.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 350 motor with aluminum intake, Holley carb, HEI ignition and stainless headers. Dressed up with finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. New heat and a/c system. Aluminum radiator with a stainless upper hose keeps it cool. New power brake system. Upgraded electric wipers. It is complete and proper- horns are hooked up, battery is properly secured, hoses and wires are run properly. The engine bay and under the hood is painted nicely.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed but needs to be upholstered better. Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted, weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end was completely rebuilt- bushings, balljoints, shocks and has lowering spindles. In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced and it has lowering blocks. The fuel system was replaced, the brake system was upgraded with disc at all 4 wheels, e-brake assembly is hooked up. It has a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Bottom of the motor looks clean, starter looks new. Upgraded 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans. Rebuilt drive shaft. The floors were restored, they're all metal painted red oxide primer. The chassis is painted semi gloss black.
I've said it a few times but again- what great colors! This car has the look of a $100,000 car!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Very cool 56 the color alone is super, only flaw is the trunk which would be a very easy fix, great stance, wheels won’t last very long.
@mrknotthall
@mrknotthall Год назад
That’s not the only flaw. How about the wrinkles in the front of the back seat and in the headliner? Also it has pimples in the driver’s door. Unless it’s a Concours, no car is without many flaws.

Agreed, it is beautiful! Unfortunately, unless owners and those that restore it pass down that information, it doesn't seem like I can easily find that we have anything about paint codes for this one.

Volo I have been to your museum several times. But in your pricing link, please include a cost to transport and if my state will register fossil fuel cars? Not a troll guys honest question
@VoloMuseumAutoSales
@VoloMuseumAutoSales Год назад
Hey wood beast! I don't think we'll be able to add any kind of shipping calculator to our website any time soon because our web host seems very busy with other requests, but it is a good idea. There can be many variables to calculating a transport cost for a vehicle. To give an idea, from our location(zip code 60073) to Los Angeles, CA will roughly run ~$2,000 for a enclosed trailer. You'll save money if you'd rather go open trailer. And depending on how urgently you want it picked up or if a shipping company can casually work it into a current trucks route. There shouldn't be much problem registering any of our vehicles in the US states. But again this can be very specific to the vehicle. Sometimes you may need to pass a safety inspection with your states authorities or emissions test.

@@VoloMuseumAutoSales Thank you. Your web provider is too busy to help you? You deserve an in house Web developer. I was thinking you ship from your Illinois museum which would make it easy to code. Any way just let me dream of a 1956 chevy 1968 road runner 1969 Nova SS 396. Do you offer a shipping a car part by part? Like the Johnny Cash song One Piece at a Time

@@VoloMuseumAutoSales Then the previous owner may have upgraded the trim level to appear like a 210. Just like people used to put ss badges and upgraded trim on a base Impala or Chevelle.

I guess I'm old school but I can't stand the fact when people either drop the cars down and then they decide to cut out Fender walls and then put on giant clown rims it's not the way I remember seeing them when they were driving up and down the roads when I was a kid and when I got old enough to drive they didn't have them rims on cars there's more Rim than there is rubber to me it just looks idiotic the statue of the car doesn't look the same to me and I wouldn't even buy it because of the rims if I even had enough money to buy one of the rims let alone purchase the whole car just a retired old working hard labor working man living on my lousy fixed income from my pension from my job and my Social Security money and Republicans are getting ready to take that mother f****** way somebody needs to get rid of all the Republicans or even thinking about it!!
