Interestingly imbiught a **1956 Ford with ALL EXT WHITE/ BLUE CLOTH INT, 1965:4 D/ TBIRD ENGINE/ auto/ real** low,Miles/ Florida Car with a/C.???.):: did have plans to keep it up : totaled quickly accident, getting a 61 Ford Convertible( Junk), then a 66 FORD GALAXIE 500\XL\ 4 SPD/BURGANDY, Black Interior....that I kept up( COOLANT RECOVERY, Metallic Brakes((no,Dosc)),etc)..... OFTEN THOUGHT THE 56 was the best of bunch!! Do remember it accelerated & moved quickly with AUTOMATIC, ETC. WE ALWAYS HEARD THE MERCS HAD BETTER ENGINES? Help me here::::
Why do you call it a phaeton? A phaeton is an open car, most people call an open car a convertible. Dictionary.com says a vintage automobile of the touring-car type. A touring car is a large open car seating four with folding top. By vintage, they dont mean 1956, they are talking about the teens and 1920s
