Stories like this are exceedingly rare and are real treasures. I enjoy watching this these kinds of videos more than anything else. I sure hope than one day Craig and myself can cruise around in the 57 & 65 knowing a lot of the history behind these two very special cars.

You're killin' me with that sweet green 2dor 210. Mine had 283, 3 on the tree, same color. It was my transition from a 56 Victoria, 312, Fordomatic. Night to day.

Wow! That has to be one of the best unrestored, untouched originals that I have ever seen! I wished the Classic Chevy Club International was still around, it would have been awesome to see this one take the gold award for unrestored original! We have about 10 Tri Fives in the family with 2 of them being owned since '61 and '63. My aunt, who was an elementary school teacher, purchased a red '56 150 business coupe and her son still owns it today! Your '57 sounds like a very familiar story! I love everything about your '57 and it is definitely in the right hands! As car owners/collectors we often end up as curators of these great historic time capsules. This one has a great story and sets the bar for historic time capsules! I am sub'd and look forward to following along! Best wishes on the car and the channel!

Great story and beautiful car I have a 55 Belair 2door post since highschool my first car. I bought it for $50 in 1969 drove it for 11 years everyday 1970-81 put it in storage from 1981-2015. I now drive it now when the weather is nice.. Wow original paint is really amazing and I luv your interior on your car thanks for posting............

Mom had a "55 Chevy Model 150 with a slant 6 with a 3 speed column shift.

I wonder how many may still exist. I'm a bit wierd I suppose, but just imagine this car rolling off the assembly line 57 years ago along with thousands of others, many more flashy than this specimen, and here we are in 2023 pausing to adore and remember. Who but Almighty God could have known that this conservative, tasteful and dependable car could have been the one chosen to be protected and preserved as a genuine example of 1950's automotive styling. Truth be told, this 210 is a more honest and mainstream example of mid twentieth century transportation than most of the flashy restorations of the Bel Air hardtops and convertibles with mirror finish paint in eye grabbing two tones of the era, many of which have sprouted dual rear antennas and continental kits along with skirts. Beautiful for certain, but as a little boy who grew up and old with these Chevy's, I promise you the streets and driveways of America saw more that looked like this one. If this car could have bought a lottery ticket, it probably would have won.

It would be a crime if some modern bonehead got a hold of it, put a fuel injected LS motor in it, some crappy looking 20" wheels, a "modern" color, some disco/yuppie/hollywood steering wheel and a massive stereo with a truck full of speakers. All original stuff is so cool. I have an 86 Olds 442 and I like the stock/sleeper look with the stock chrome Olds rally wheels. SO many people put those God awful 22-26" wheels on them and a funky so far from stock paint job. An old car with original chrome, interior, mill, paint,etc is the coolest thing.

Fantastic history! It's hard to believe how well preserved that 210 is! Beautiful car! I really do hope one or both of your boys will appreciate the history behind this car and keep that progressing!

That is totally awesome. In my business I run into lots of old survivors, and I’ve observed that cars of the mid fifties to mid sixties have door hinges built to last. I always like opening and shutting the doors and they still work perfect 60 years later. (Wish I could say the same for myself 🤣). You didn’t say what was in the briefcase in the trunk, a million dollars for your sons to fight over?😂😂

is that 1011 or a 1011a car? on the firewall plate? mine is a 1011a a 210 delray clubcoupe most are strait 210s 1011 with no " a " its a standard interior package mine is copper with a white top 6 cyl with a 3 speed standard the interior has been replaced on your car /
