A beautiful car, I see it's sold and hope you got a good price for it. It was great to see the Daimler 4.5 V8 in the garage and hope you get pleasure from that as well. I thought that some of the panel fits on the Lincoln could have been better - the bumper bar look skewed out of line, and the shots along the top of the right front fender showed inconsistent panel gaps. Not sure about the new upholstery either, others I've seen have had 2 colours of leather which to me looks better than the single colour and from the camera work that it did not look leather either.
This car is NOT a ''Lincoln''...any more than the 1955-83 Imperial was a "Chrysler" . BOTH CARS were products of their own individual divisions and did NOT bare the "Lincoln" or "Chrysler" names . The CONTINENTAL and IMPERIAL Divisions built those cars .
ha ha ... YES! And, when Ford originally sold the car, you could not buy it if you had a criminal record (they checked). Ford didn't want this to be a "gangster ... mafia ... car." Maybe they should have?
