Good find! Whenever I get into a yard like that, I always check the immediate surrounding area for other parts that may also be for the vehicle, some might be under the recently fallen leaves. Many times I do find more parts.
Lol. I do the same, Jim. I found extra parts hidden under leaves and limbs recently. Would have left them behind otherwise. Good advise for sure. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

Keep going and you will corner the market on TR's in SC. You mentioned you were thinking about a V-8 swap, have you given any thought to a V-6 swap? If you could find one the old supercharged 3.8 L or a 4.3 L with a turbo would move it on down the road. Even a 96 and up 3.8 is good for 200 HP. I have been watching a guy up in PA that is getting a lot of horses out of the 4200 inline 6. I want to wish you and the Queen a very happy turkey day. I met a guy who put a 4.3 Vortec in a TR. It fit nice and said he was happy with the handling and power. This one will probably go back stock. I just like to dream about possibilities, lol. Vern, the Rust Queen and I are have a seafood feast at the Rust Ranch for Thanksgiving. Been my tradition for more years than I can remember. So nice for someone to have you and Jackie over. Still makes me sick to think of all the classics she crushed. Too MGA's and B's I didn't show were crushed too. I tried my best to get all the TR4's but the idiot crushing cars did it anyway even though he was told to save them. Still makes me sick. Thanks for stopping in.
Great save Jerry! It looked like some other interesting cars were getting crushed. Are you going to use it for parts or is it going to be a v8 swap? Both are good options, I have no idea of what tr3's are worth but parts must be hard to find.
Not sure what the plan is yet. Vern wants to put a small V8 in it. If the engine is not locked, it may stay as is. Too nice for a parts car though I could certainly use the parts for the other, lol. Will wait until I get it home, take a closer look at what we have and then figure it out. Just excited too save it. Have a great Thanksgiving.
