1958 Jaguar XK 150 OTS ( Chrome Surround & Trim Update )

What a relief that we have managed to make the chrome windscreen surround fit correctly the first time after the repair. This is a testament
to the skill of the craftsman at Gillich in Graz. I also think the maroon edging is far better than the original grey from Jaguar. Let me know what you think in the comments.

You should be rightly pleased. The windscreen side trims are a work of art.

How great to find craftsmen these days, you must be so pleased. As you know I like all reds and that Maroon ALA red looks so much better. Also Do it once do it right and never buy cheap.

Go with what you know. 👍 I might have missed it. Where did you source those hockey sticks? The did not come with the car right? Wonder how much you are spending just on those to get them perfect.

Maikel, They were with the car when we bought it but the top and bottom chrome strips had to be purchased. When I get the final bill i will disclose what the cost was as I have always been up front about parts and costs with all my restoration or repairs as it‘s a hobby and not a commercial business.
