1958 Plymouth goes skiing in Vermont!

Ha. Dad had that Plymouth for one year as it was a company car. He wouldn't get another Mopar until 1962. I will have a clip for that coming up in a video when they bought their house in the same year.

That was my dad's company car when he was an insurance adjuster. He got a new car every year. They used to skiing in Vermont (mom, his brother, and my aunt are in the film). He wasn't supposed to use the car more than X amount of miles for personal trips, so he would unscrew the speedometer cable when they went far. That Plymouth was a Savoy with a V8 (gold V on the grill signifies it's a V8). He had to turn it in for 1959 and they gave him a 6 cylinder Ford. I think they caught onto his scheme and punished him. 😎 No matter as he took the Ford to Canada with my mom. 😁. I'll be uploading that soon. Glad you are enjoying the vintage films!

@@barrycuda3769 The town was Bennington in Southern Vermont. The motel was the Been View. It's gone but I found a picture of it on a postcard searching online. Looked just like where they stayed.
