I have a 1969 Coupe Deville, love cruising with my convertible top down, with my beautiful Lady, and my two witty, charismatic, cute, Granddaughters. Life can't get any better than that! Thank you Lord....🙏⚘🙏
Not a Coupe de Ville. That's a Series 62 coupe. www.oldcarbrochures.org/North%20America/Cadillac/1959_Cadillac/1959-Cadillac-Prestige-Brochure/slides/1959_Cadillac_Prestige-05a-05.html It does look like a nicely redone interior.
You have convertibles? I used to live in Hollywood but I wouldn't keep that car in salty air unless there was a way to keep salt off of it, especially from underneath.
That's what I call a proper car! I bet this car must be great fun to drive and I just love the sound of that engine too. A proper throaty rumble from the engine as it ticks over. I am assuming that is a V8 six-cylinder super-charged engine under the hood? I bet the six dislikes are from those that like modern plastic tack they call a car.
I know I couldn't. What I really like about the older cars is the engine compartment, Everything is easy to access. Cars today are so compact you have to take apart have the engine just to replace a part. I had to replace the alternator on my 2003 Malibu and had to jack the engine up just to get to the bolts.
Your absolutely right about the large engine compartments of these older cars. Everything seems less technological and you can do things your self. Especially cars with rear wheel drive. I don't like the transversed engine compartment But my girlfriend always gives me a hard time about purchasing old cars.
jarmelo2006 Just because it's old doesn't mean it's a pile of junk. It's all about how well a car is maintained. You can buy something new from the factory and it could still be a Lemon.
Thats very true... I'd didnt realize that until I purchashed and old 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula with over 211,000 miles on the odometer. I love the F body platform. One day in March my sister was in town in South Carolina. I went to see her it was a 3 and 1/2 hour drive. I was amazed at this cars accelaration and muscle along with its agility. To be so old that car handled like a champ. It has the 305 liter v-8, it drank gas alot but it was one the best old schools I ever purchased.
