Nice. I just got a 59 convert also. Red with a white top. 352 with the 3speed. Power windows and a.c. 9k orig miles. Has the tru spoke wheels also. Maybe i can get it up to this standard soon. Thanks for the video.
Odd no power windows? Very nice. Those Kelsey Hayes wheels that people love to install are beautiful but a bear to keep clean and totally incorrect for most of the cars they stick them on.
"Totally incorrect" is BS. In the era, lots of SquareBird owners put them on. And Turnpike Cruiser fender skirts. And continental tire holders. And long dual antennas. Get over yourself, dude; owners make cars their own. Not you.
@@caribman10 The Kelsey Hayes wire wheels were factory sanctioned for the 62 and 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadsters. All of the other Thunderbirds were steel wheeled with hubcaps from the factory. I agree that the wire wheels are gorgeous and enhanced the great looks of all of the birds from 55 to 66.
