It’s now with me at Collectors Car Corral in Maryland and now that I’ve had the opportunity to play around with it in person, I can honestly say this is an amazing machine! I hope it stays with us for awhile. I don’t think I’ll have the chance to top this as far as VW Bus experiences go

i remember driving one of these early vw buses soon after i got my license in '68. looking back, i think it's only car i've ever driven with less horsepower per pound than my '53 mg td. i doubt if it had more than 50. :)

@@Cascadiaclassic how is it incorrect, it is the type 1 transporter T1 Transporter 1 build from 1950 till 1967 T2 looks, very, different and was built from 1967 till 1979
