It is an amazing nut & bolt restoration completed by George a number of years ago.

Learned to drive in a 1970 Spider with Cinturatos . Have never driven a Giulietta, but to this day I think the Spider was the best handling car I have ever driven. Different car, but seeing this really brought back some great memories for me. Thanks Mike and George.

Hello Mike, I am an old man living in the netherlands and I would like to say that I like your vlogs very much. I like the bikes you show us they are from a past era and very beautiful. I still ride my 25 year old Honda RC 42 and I like the bike very much. Funny as my bike and me are over 100 years old. Years ago a friend had an '80s Alfetta of which he was very proud (so he told me). Then I discovered that what he liked most was that on top of the twin ohc cylinder head (exactly as here) he had found the perfect place to keep a brown paper bag containing a doner kebab hot while he drove home. Sacrilege or what!!

Did not realise that you guys like your cars I keep a low profile with some of my friends as to cars but I have owned a 1955 Austin 7 in black with green interior for years now just because I like any older form off transport and the best thing is your never alone when you stop off some where stay safe and enjoy

@@TheMightyGarage yes I would be a millionaire I keep the old stuff because I can get my hands in there and fix it my self I have a 1950s river boat for the same reason yet mored next to it I have a carver 25 with all mod cons for the wife she thinks I got it for her but the engine is a 5.2 chevrolet lump ha ha stay safe

Oh just stop it. There is only just so much envy a man can live with. Tina and are are massive car nuts and this rubs salt into our wounds. We have just cancelled our euro road trip including BMW Porsche in Germany on our way down to Italy where we were booked into the two Ferrari museums and Ducati. We always loved the Alfa so much that we went to a Kit Car show in the Midlands in 1990 to place an order for a Moss Mamba which was styled on the Alfa on a Triumph Vittesse platform. The guys on the stand had been drinking when we arrived late on Saturday afternoon and were acting a bit giddy so we planned to go back the next morning. Tina was up early and felt unwell feeling nauseous and with other female symptoms. Over breakfast with friends she announced that although it was not confirmed she felt that she may be pregnant. and that was that for the Moss. She was so i bought a trials bike instead!!

Haha, those Italians certainly get you in the mood 😉. Sorry to hear about cancelling your holiday. That sounds like a wonderful time in Germany and Italy. Yes, we also had planned a trip to Scarborough (ok, not quite the same as Italy) this summer, followed by a trip to Italy. That's what a sports car should look like. However, I could never in good conscience drive anything whose engine bay is cleaner than my kitchen. Nope. I'd need an old Spitfire with a fossilized squirrel in the air cleaner to feel truly comfortable.

Inb those times, they managed to design beautiful and appealing cars - nowadays they design only ugly and with negative feelings (at least causing me feel). And if I'm not wrong, that or at least the 1300cc engine was the worlds most powerful 1300cc factory produced engine - but I'm no specialist about these. Anyhow, there lays the reputation of Alfa Romeo... Some may say they had a reputation as with the worlds fastest disappearing retail value but they are full of sport and fun - and fun is sometimes expensive (and takes a lot of effort in maintaining).
