1960 AMC Rambler Cross Country Wagon 

That's one of the best looking Ramblers I've seen in a long time. I'm 61 years old and when I got license when I was 14 my parents had 2 of them and I took my driver's test in one just like this one! ❤️

What a great car. Not just great-looking, it's genuinely cool in an iconic sort of way.

Thank you, LOVE IT. My father owned one when I was going to high school, approx 1980, lime green, thought-pushbutton transmission, straight 6. Was hoping it would last until I started driving, did not. Think a "king pin" gave away in the front end collapsing the front driver-side wheel and crashing into the retraining wall.

I loved my 60 rambler ambassador 327 V8, put a lot of the big three to shame on the road, from stoplight to stoplight.

when i was 6 my family of 6 went cross country in a cross country from Charleston AFB,SC to Travis AFB, CA on the way to a two year tour in the philipine islands I remember the part along the way in the desert when pop stopped the car opened the tailgate and pulled my older brother and I out for squabbling and gave us both the belt across the butt besides that my most vivid memory of the car was the fins the factory yellow paint and the fold up rear window crank as a six year old that was my favorite part of the car I gave it quite a work out

My family had a 1962 Rambler station wagon really nice cars it had a push button transmission

These were $50 cars when I was a child. My dad had several he repaired and resold to make a few dollars between paychecks in the 1960's.

My friend Gary had a 1961 wagon junker when we were 15. We used to run it thru the woods and mud. It was a great little wagon.

I wish they wouls build the bodies of the latest autos like this. the mechanical side has imprived tremendusly but the chassis and bodies care leae a lot to be desired

We had a '60 Rambler Rebel Super sedan the 8 cylinder model. Light blue with a dark blue roof. Push button "Flash O'Matic" transmission. We took our drivers road test in it. Reclining front seats and a big back seat. Yeah, those were the days ! ! !
