Extremely clean for 60 Minnesota car. Most from that era could be swept up and put in a garbage can.

in 66 I swapped frames on my 59 Impala using a single post center lift at the gas station I worked at. We raised it up and removed all the bolts. Then we lowered it onto 55 gallon barrels holding the body at the corners. The front clip had already been removed (with an air chisel as it was smashed.). We did this all in an afternoon. We had a little experience as we. had already removed the smashed body from the donor frame.

I love customizing vehicles. But this car is too good to touch. I understand it will have more modern powertrain and handling. But things like this are only original once

they only made 1075 of these and this one looked to be in good shape, still on air ride and tri power, nice body and interior, shame it had to be this car. Is it going back stock appearing? Factory interior and trim?

Yes, the Cadillac will still be stock appearing...at this point only the wheels will be different...there are no plans to alter the paint and the original interior will be used as much as possible.

Yes, they will be getting used for an OEM restoration by another shop.

Wow 3 duce carbs whith ac thats on nice 60 it does not look like you guys got to do anything to but i dont know that 390 whith 3 deces carbs on but im sher look good when u put back together

I don't believe we used the word restoration...the Cadillac is not in need of restoration, we are performing a body swap.

You have those people that can leave cars stock and say that from the factory it's well enough and then there's people like me that look at car and be like the factory says that's good enough how can I improve it which is what I like there are very few cars I can leave alone
