(0:28) The hat with holes. Kind of like the water proof teabag, and the ashtray on the motorcycle, it just didn't seem to remain popular with the punters.
Great - - except for the big FREMANTLE stamped over every frame and the sentimental kitsch piano soundtrack that has nothing whatsoever to do with the time or the place and takes us OUT of the space we're supposed to be revisiting. Sometimes, if copyright clearance is a problem, silence is your best friend.
If they didn't have the "watermark" (and I've seen much worse in the way of watermarks), then people would be using the footage without their permission.
I agree with some of these comments, the music going along with the video has remotely nothing to do with that decade of the 60"s and that stamp in the way of the video no need to be there it's a waste of space
1/ Remove the irrelevant music from this. If you need to add sound, just add generic city sounds (cars, people, etc) or some public domain 60's music. 2/ Remove the bloody "freemantle" text from the centre of the screen. If you MUST add some sort of copyright text, simply pop it in the corner of something. I stopped watching this video after 5 seconds, due to the 2 problems mentioned above. Do better please, Thames.
Was this clip originally silent? If so, perhaps it would have been better leaving it silent. Not criticising the music, but the way it is stuck onto here feels "amateur". Also the "Fremantle" watermark should be smaller and more discreet.
I watch these hoping to see my dad who died in 1972, shortly after I was born. He would have been in his 20s. A very tall man. Now none of that is true. But that's how easy it is to manipulate people online. Peace ✌️
