Wow. It's in such good condition. My brother and I had pretty much the same game, but in an early 1970's edition. The only difference I see is that ours had a slightly different picture on the cover. I don't know what happened to our game. My wife and I bought a later version in the 90's. It's still in our basement. Still enjoying your videos. Carry on. -BTW, you counted the red pegs. You would need at least 34, maybe more, if it's a close game and you mark the enemy's hits as well as the ones on your own ships. Plus if you want to stick a red peg on the top edge of the cover--that's what the five holes are for. -Yeah, there's some 'cultural' expression of the times shown on the earlier boxes.

We didnt have board version of this game when we were kids. We used to play on a piece of paper, where we drew a field of 10x10 and "placed" drawing ships of different sizes 😆 That preparation was fun.
