Finally someone who deserves it & someone that's actually in the lowrider scene taking there car out not just 3 times year...much respect & god is good!!!
Man Eddie, I don’t have the have cancer, but I’m an alcoholic. I have an el Camino lowrider. Pops died and left me the car. Alcohol is nothing copaired to cancer. But this video made me want to complete-the car without alcohol. Every day is hard. Good to see you strong and keeping on. Thanks for the positive message!
So happy to hear you giving God the glory for pulling you through. I try to tell people that anybody can endure terrible, terrible tragedy. We see it every day. But with God, we can live higher and better through Him. Also, when we have our hope in Him, we can endure MORE because we don't have to have the strength. He has it! God bless you and obey Acts 2:38, my friends!
Beautiful story, by far best Lowrider Role model episode, inspirational and a definition of a Warrior who puts God 1st. Lastly, Firme 62 Eddie !Much Respect from San Anto, Texas
Congratulations Eddie, glad you get to share your story with the rest of the world. I'm sure it will inspire other people to believe and keep fighting. 👑
(14:01) “I just encourage anybody that’s going through anything in life... to never give up on it. Because it’s easy for us to give up. But I am living proof, that it can be done. You do your part and God is going to do his. Just stay focused and don’t lose track of your dream.” Thank you, Eddie. You truly are an inspiration to us all. Thank you.
This episode honestly choke me up/ had me wrestling my emotions listening to all this stuff/ had me thinking about my grandma When the times were rough/ wishing she would have did the chemo so she could see my son/ now I gotta teach hem about the lessons that Made Me Numb/But for now I gotta get Back too Work with the rising Sun - GD3
Eddie Rodriguez I hear what your saying your discription of chemo is exactly how i did to friends . And as I started my 1946 Chevrolet coupe ute , tearing it apart found so much cancer I didn't know what to do so I gave it to a coach building shop then I was diagnosed with leukaemia. Knowing I had big plans for that kept me going. Good on you Brother
Thank you Eddie for sharing your story, i am fighting breast cancer second time, and my son sent me this story, you encouraged my son James. He met you at a car show in LA too :) God bless you 🙏🏼✝️👍🏼
Wonderful story. You deserve your beautifful car with its new life and your beautiful new life so full of love and suport. Your car is sweet. Im claasss of 65 and worked at. I been a car guy all my life, not into lowriders, I like hot rods, muscle cars, street racing but I have a lot of respect for guys who build lowriders like this, my builds don’t look anywhere near that nice, I know all the time money and effort that takes to build a car like that and going through what he went through is so inspiring.
When he called "time out" I thought he was gonna say his wife died. That would've broke me. What an inspiring story. I seen first hand what cancer does. I took care of my mom and she fought like a MF but ultimately went to heaven.
Eddie i miss both my 62 impala that i sold. I love your car now my heart hurts because your car brings back those memories of my 62's. I love your story your life, the pain the fight the will and all that love. Also i notice your a Raider fan i also love the Raiders. I fill the pain because my wife fought cancer and is beating it but my sister die at 45 from cancer.
Mr. Eddie sir, somehow (despite you having an awesome car), i do have to apologize for putting it on the back burner. Listening to your words that describe what you and your family had to endure during your battle, really REALLY resonates what life is really about. I totally understand what that car means and the inspiration it bestowed onto you. I used to build engines for such cars back in the 80-90's and would cater to the customers wants and needs. From original showroom to custom colored long blocks. A pasion is what the owner visions, so i understand all of that. But your words at thee end, went far beyond the car. Like it went straight to a leson of life. Again, awesome build you created, but your words were just as amazing. Thank you for sharing! Big ups to you sir!
All I can say the best stories Amen , I all too well know what you're going through , or went through , I started out August 22 , finding out that I had colon cancer , and some lung cancer , altogether I had stage 4 , I was at a pretty bad level , I to believe it's only through the grace of God he's allowing me to live , it's been a year in a few months , I'm not too far from being in remission , I can truly relate to all you said in how you felt on the treatments in such as that , when the day is right I look forward to having a classic vehicle as well , I love the classics and have a true love for them , what does possible let's keep in touch , Thanks , much love to y'all from Houston Texas , ❤ , Y'all have a beautiful machine there

I feel you there. I don't have cancer but have to do routine infusions for the rest of my life. It really hits hard the meds but sometimes all we have is our faith and a little help from our brothers and sisters in the medical field.
This is such an inspirational video. My husband was diagnosed a month and a half ago with Cancer and he also just bought a 63’ Chevy Impala. This video has showed me not to give up because God is very powerful as long as you believe. This guy deserves every Trophy he has got. He is proof that you can get through things in life. Don’t stop fighting. Thank you for this video. I will treasure it. God Bless you and your family🙏🏻
