Perhaps not a very exciting part of restoration, but very necessary.
In this video we will get all of the frontend pieces cleaned and painted.
All rights, credit, and kudos to Chevrolet, Perry Mason, Tex Avery, and Dr. Pepper.
My sincerest apologies to German ladies everywhere. (my family is full of them)
And a very warm thanks to Nalph Rader without whom all of this would have been possible anyway.

Lots of good insight and practical ideas. Just dropped the front end out of my 64 to do a refresh and rebuild and this was very helpful.

What area of Ok are you in? Just curious, I have been all over your state for work. I don't think there is a Highway west of I-35 that I haven't been down. Thanks for watching.

Sir. You and I are one in the same living in a parallel universe (except you have some nicer tools). I love your "cost IS an object" perspective and ringing more life out of older (but likely better) parts. What, no attempt to get rich off of You Tube? How refreshing. Doing a '61 Lakewood myself at the moment. All the best.

Excellent presentation and heave as well. That front end looks excellent. Glad for the insight into citric vs. Muriatic acid treatment to remove rust. Thanks!

Everybody loves to save money I had my whole front end every part Sand blasted is for a $100 then I did a little more clean up so to me time is money so I'd rather spend the 100 bucks than spend 15 hours cleaning something and when I was done that I got it coated. I also bought a lot of new bolts from Clarks Corvair parts when you think about it yes that cost money and look at the time to wire wheel every bolt and new and these bolts come coded in are all great

To save paint in can, take a sandwich wrap bag and place it on top of pot 15 can tight and put lid. No more slop and mess.25 years no problems. Good luck

You have to use very dry sand , and you have to pour it thru a screen , if you want the tank to work

I found that implement enamel from the farm store is about as good as it gets for parts. If it holds up for farm machinery it will for cars.
