Saw this car at the Goodguys last year. The 2.5 inch top chop is subtle but makes the whole wagon look longer and lower. Appreciate this video explaining what was done to it.
Thanks Scottie sure Lovin this one Back doors gone piller removed was a nice touch. The front end is awesome no parkn lights is cool, the frame and suspension is a work of art with coil overs. This baby was built with kid gloves Dig the remote hood, hatch lid!!
A killer wagon, the paint job is amazing it reflects incredibly that l can barely see the Silhouette and the details other than that a masterpiece, cool very cool, beautiful interior, a DREAM CAR!!!
Hi Scottie. This is unbelievably gorgeous.....A true one-off......... Thank you Scottie. We see the best because of your hard work and dedication to your channel..
Truth is....at the end of the day....I don't think anyone knows true cost of a build like this...So much is done that is not billed for....Just the hours spent thinking it all out...let alone build it....That gas cap must have been a pain and if it wasn't there...Not a second thought..But I bet there is several 1000's making it happen....Crazy build for sure.....
Hey!!...I agree Brother...That gas cap is bad a** for sure....and they pulled it off...You would never know it did that if they didn't tell you...and at the push of a button it opens smoothly....Way cool!!
All I can say is WOW, this is one espectacular built when I just adore how they used Modern touches to an Old car that on which it should deserve. 👌🏻👍🏻
Jesus!! Some builders just don't play fair. This should be against the rules to beat up on other builds the way this 2-door wagon just did. It kicks ass!! Scotty, just when I think you post a bad ass ride, you come with this wagon. This is just too damn cool.
Two doors have always been looked at as cooler than 4 doors...Don't kill the messenger...lol...More hot rod..Lot of work to make this one a two door and it was rewarded with the Ridler award last year....
It's definitely a cool looking wagon, especially with the '59 Chevy dash and the chrome finish on the sides of the front seats. Having said that on the exterior of the car it does somewhat resemble a Hurst. Good thing they didn't put any chrome rails on top of the roof.
If u hadn't asked about the process, I would never have thought all that was done to it. Glad it's sitting on chrome instead of black. Oh I would luv a red wall tire on it not still Amazing
Definitely not your Dad’s ‘63 Chevy Wagon. Beautiful car and a great build. I love the car and the build. I’m not sold on the wheels.............maybe after I watch a few more times I’ll change my mind.
What are you talking about...It won the riddler in like 2018?...It wasn't even at this show..And even had it been...You can't compete for the Ridler twice?
Autorama's "best in show" award is the Don Ridler Memorial Award, named after Don Ridler, a former Michigan State Football Player, Lawrence Tech Athletic Director, and Autorama's first promoter from 1956-1963. It was awarded for the first time at the 12th annual Autorama in 1964, and has been awarded every year since. Detroit Autorama - Wikipedia It's the top custom vehicle award... And it has to be the first time shown...
