Amazing builds! Really like the 300, the 53 and the Cougar/Pred....... in that order but simply tough to see the tricks and details without being there in person. Thanks for the coverage!
Yessssss, that vette looks like it came from one of the Italian stying houses like Pininfarina. If that car didnt win then they got robbed. The car beat every categories by bus lengths
Good Lord are these just beautiful machines. Of course can dig it knocked it out of the park not a big fan of those Wheels but a big fan of what he does and also for some strange reason I love that Chrysler😊
Yea he is a level above the competition but the others are still nice to look at! glad you enjoyed the video! if you want to see more I've got another video of a walk through of the entire show you should check it out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qFeYL0EQvEo.htmlsi=D664clhzRq6L69OD
The Kindig is a beautiful car, but the overall shape looked like a Corvette Corvair concept streched out like a modern day promod drag car .... the Henry Jenner and Cougar caught my attention ..... all were awesome cars 🎉
I’m glad someone finally built a fastback cougar. I’ve had pics of one for 10 years but never got a chance. Keith Kaucher drew it up or photochopped it. No one had a chance against the Kindig Vette tho.
I'm pretty sure the Cougar was the creation of JF Customs all the way out in British Columbia Canada? Cheers to JF and his talented team I agree this Cougar is a special, special car. 😊
The shine factor on that impala was insane. Its like staring into the sun, you wanna look away but you just can't. May not have been the best of the 8, but i really like that blue.
It's all about the build at this level what you end up with after it has been judged and shown is almost and after thought? Except for when you are totalling up the receipts one night and realize how much money and time has just been invested! 😊
You had to know that that Corvette was going to win! It was just a step above every other car there! But thank you for showing me the rest of the cars that it was up against. Some really nice cars that people put a lot of work into.❤
Dave have a 1 of 1 eye for design, his cars are just just immaculate and deserves to win but God it was some tough competition. The Chrysler will be my winner if Dave didn't present the Corvair
When do they get to the point where they don't even put tires on these cars? Not a fan of the old 10-speed wheel and tire look which seems to get more ridiculous all the time.
Within minutes of arriving at the show I ran into Dave Kindig. He was a total douchebag. So I bummed to learn that he won the Riddler. Was hoping the Chrysler 300 would win it. The fastback Cougar was really nice, as was the Eldo, but the Eldo builder mailed it in by just putting crate engine under the hood w/o doing anything to integrate it with the mods made to the car.
All great cars. I like the styling of the Predator the best but an awful choice of colors in my opinion. Red with white interior or dark highland green with tan interior...anything but green on green.
All the metal work on these vehicles and too many couldn't figure out how to route the air filter so it didin't look like an afterthought. 🙄 The Chrysler and Caddy were the worst.
Only like the chysler but I would put chrome back where it belongs the corvette fastback is ok but most of the cars are over done to modern standards not my cup of tea, just my own opinion which at the end of the day don't mean shit lmao
lmao I hear ya I actually like the chrystler. I did my 65 chevy impala similiar, similiar color, color matched the bumpers, got rid of the chrome and shaved everything I like it but not everyone's the same
Henry J interior is very dated..Corvair concept, is nice, shame it won't stop.. Chrome rotors..Mmm ok. I like the Chrysler 300. Tough looking car. And has decent sidewall.. not those dumbass low profile tires.
Don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of Dave Kindig’s work (usually), but this red thing whatever it is, looks like a clown car to me. Sorry Dave. It looks like something. Batman might drive on his day off I don’t know.
Must have been a shortage of contenders. The El Dorado should have been in the basement, the 56 Chevy looked like a nice car but certainly not up to this class, the proportions on the Henry J were kinda weird, the Cougar is confused, is it a race car with that engine, is it a foreign car with the offset stripes, the grill bars look very heavy, the 63 Impala was a strange shade of blue and the grille was really ugly, the once elegant Chrysler was a big blob of nothing and should have a big white star on the door! The Kindig car was in another league altogether, what a masterpiece! Sorry just my opinion
I am the only one that thinks big shiny wheels are a bit ‘old fashion’ and ‘off the shelf’. Can’t builder’s and designers put in a bit more effort to show of the wheels with some colour..?..
i agree a little on that one, i like some of the car setups with a dark gray paint with wheels accented with the same color or black. I built a 65 chevy impala and painted it a dark metalic gray and threw on some black wheel looks way better than me going with chrome wheels i think. im not s fan of wheels with reds or blues though
