Yea that's nice, got one myself those pump water well, nice and clean motor for 58 yrs old. One of the last ones with hi/ low mixture you can really dial them in. Thanks for posting.
Thank you. This is the last year for the adjustable high speed on most of the motors amd the last year for the 10hp for OMC. Excellent motors! Thanks for watching!
I see you made a conversion fuel connecter to run a fuel pump motor on a pressure tank. I need to make one. I now have a couple of "newer" motors with fuel pumps. It would be nice to use the my pressure tanks to run the pump motors on. Saves keeping and extra tank with fuel sitting around. BTW that is a strong running 10 hp.
Thank you. Yes, this is a beautiful running 10. Definitely a keeper. I made the single line adapter several years ago woth the intent of using it for winterizing so I only mixed one tank of 8:1 mix for winterizing. It works great and it turns out I use it a lot.
Be still my heart for sure...This one nudges out the previous 10hp only because of its pristine original condition...Too bad about the oil stain, but its not that visible. Also too bad about the freeze damaged skeg, but I'm hoping that isn't very noticeable...
This one is a real beauty aside from the oil stained cover. It is a very nice runner and is super clean. The skeg repair is pretty well done. If it were painted the original color, it would require close inspection to ever notice it. It's a very nice one and will stay in my collection for a long time. Thanks for watching!
No, I don't really habe any videos that cover any of my Alumacraft boats. At least not yet. This one is my '56 Model K. It is currently just an open hull tiller boat. I could do a video sometime that goes over this one if you're interested. I also have two Model FDs, a Model K, and a Flying C (it still needs work to make it ready to run). The other Alumacrafts all have controls in them. Thanks for watching!
@@marcoflores5181 I'll see what I can do. I'm up north right now and I have my '65 FD up here. If I think about it I'll make a video going over that one while I'm here. I'll be back home next week where the others are. I don't know a lot about the newer Alumacrafts, but I love the older ones.
Thank you. No, I'm not parting with this one. The '63 Evinrude is my favorite graphic of this cowl style and this is a very nice example of one. It will stay in my collection and get run on occasion. Thank you for your interest and thanks for watching!
If you ever decide to sell it I would love to buy! I have the exact same motor when I was a kid on an MFG fishing boat that we tooled around on in the 70s and 80s. The motor finally shot a rod and we had to replace it with a 1986 Johnson 6 hp. Obviously not the same. I have been in the process of restoring the original boat and would love to get the original motor back on it. It would be great to bring it all back ;)
