Sady looks like Tom passed away in 2019. RIP, Tom! Looks like this qualified as the first 'live' television attempt at a ghost investigation. Quite an achievement.
@@coreydolan3239 Ghosts or whatever you'd like to label them are absolutely a real thing; yet another thing that your misplaced superiority complex has you completely lacking in an understanding of and of course...
Exactly, if I was a ghost, why on Earth (or hell or heaven) would I want to be exorcised ? Scaring people is fun, you have to admit that, if you are honest 😀!
Why is it always up to our "side" to exorcise or help spirits move to the "other" side? Why doesn't the "other" side help them? The "other" side must know about them if we do.
He was born in 1937, so made 82. Not that bad. £2.10s per hour.... That would have equated to £3000 per week in today's terms, on a 40 hours per week basis. As a steelworker (his main job), he'd have been earning about 7/6p per hour, ie about 7 times less.
Does anyone remember this - I recall seeing a short film documentary in the 1980's, could've been part of a news programme. It was on the BBC in the afternoon and about a haunting at a particular old house. The investigators said that left a recorder running at the bottom of a supposedly haunted staircase, and when they ran the tape back, they heard a ghostly conversation, where the ghosts acknowledged that they were being looked at and recorded, one ghost saying 'Yes, they're looking at us'. Does anyone else remember this, I've never forgotten it, but it's just vanished from history?
1963: TOM ROBERTSON - Scotland's GHOST BUSTER | Tonight | Weird and Wonderful | BBC Archive 0908am 22.8.24 spectre vs rector.... no relation of BA Robertson, is he, who used to die every night on stage in Glasgow of an evening............................
This is borderline an episode of 'Look Around You' - and that 6 month warranty... really smart. Simply claim you hear the ghost every 5 months or so... ay ay ay.
To me evil spirits are things like greed, egoism, unnecessary fear, despair. Spirits have no physical reality, no spatial dimensions. Since however God is a Trinity of persons, the evil spirits have a personal element to them as well. Although they're not like human persons.
(1:59) I don't know how this is connected with getting in touch with the spirit world, but if you keep getting around like that, you may soon join them! (2:05) Tom, holding a cross and a Bible, which he's not reading from, although he glances at it for no particular reason, from time to time - while not particularly religious himself, and not performing a particularly religious ceremony.
To me evil spirits are things like greed, egoism, unnecessary fear, despair. They do have a personal element to them. Stories like that are definitely a good reason to reconsider our choices and our conduct.
