Today at Ironside Garage we installed window felts on the 1964 C10. The windows felts are shot and have been causing them to rattle.
Tools needed:
Phillips head screwdriver
Pry tool/plastic
Flat head screwdriver
WD-40
Patience!!!!

You were right. I still need to replace the door weatherstripping but those are future me problems 🤷‍♂️

I miss the days when you could actually work on your own vehicles like this. Don't get me wrong, I like modern conveniences but if a motor for an electric window goes out you are into the motor, replacing broken panel clips, the plastic that is tarred to the door frame to keep down drafts, and whatever else you break trying to fix it. lol

You are 100% spot on. You can’t beat simple and quality craftsmanship. My dad calls it my dooms day machine.

@@ironsidegarage1479 It would definitely survive an EMP, something for others to think about. Wouldn't it be nice if they created a car that did not require a computer to operate but had one to improve it and of course for added safety and pleasure
