they're quite close, but so far no issues! Can't remember the brand but I think I'm using 45 degree no name wires. I've heard of people using the bendable/ multi angle spark plugs when having clearance issues and I personally now run Insultherm spark plug wire boots. I believe they're good up to ~2/3000 degrees and can stand direct constant contact even during driving hope this helps!
