I was very fortunate and able to buy a brand new 1964 GTO, Two Door Hard Top, 4 speed, Tri power, Posi rear from Royal Oak Pontiac, in Michigan! They put their own “Royal BobCat Package” in the motor before I ever picked it up! In N. Jersey it was KING with 4.33 Getz gears in the rear and Hooker Headers! I was also able to order 2.20 4 speed instead of the 2.56 4 speed! Back then you could really put together a decent street machine for very little! When I sold it, it had a 421 in it and FLEW! ! !
