Jeffrey Hung. Be careful and watch out. Lot of fakes out there. Besides that, most of the cheaper vintage, have issues, like refinish, restoration, refret, changed hardware/pups etc, etc. Never buy unseen/played on the net. Trustful stores know their prices. Good luck.

I have a Lake Placid Blue one and I love it, albeit some small oversights.

Michael Langlie yeah because he actually used an amp rhat does it justice he probably atarted reading the comments and seeing pwople can hear the difference he is finally using an amp that does it justice no matter what guitar you use if you use a 5 watt module amp trhat cost like 50 bucks your not going to hear the quality in any guitar unless it was a 5 watt tube amp that would be fine but im just happy to see he used an alright amp for this strat and yes it sounded great just like most of the others should of especially the cherry one with the brass parts ive heard that guitar many times and he made it sound bad ive never heard that 64 sound bad before its one of the best sounding strats still to this day so if you see a guitar on her that you like research it afterwards and listen to someone else play it you will be shocked

Stuart Tate thats because he is using an amp that does it justice for some reason he likes using horriblw amps with the strats and it soesnt give it justice

Michael Guenthner . That shouldn't be difficult. Just look for a Stratocaster plus or Eric Clapton from 1987-1999.

339 is a pretty new model. Not even a decade old. I've been to Norm's many times and though he does carry new guitars - vintage is what he specializes in and is what you see on the floor.
