Hate to say this, But Fiberglass Freaks in Indiana has a better sounding and looking car, and they are also the Only Licensed replica dealer in the nation. Gotham Garage was sued by DC Comics.
I agree.....we go to France Park near there and I saw one driving down Rte 24.Just west of Logansport....and during our camp out......One guy said there is a shop just east of here and they build them for the last 30+ years.I couldn't sleep most of the weekend......lol
Logansport, Indiana, they've made over 26 of them, are licensed from DC Comics (they sent a representative, undercover to observe the process) to manufacture the cars. Fiberglass Freaks actually restored one of THE original TV cars. You can see one running around town every once and a while or parked on Erie Ave. They can go up to $250,000 depending on motor, ect. To clear-up any confusion about this replica, I'll explain this replica's history. The body is the last of the Adam West era and is from that mold, making it quite rare. However the chassis and drivetrain are not orginal to the replica, they are borrowed from a C3 Corvette.
+MotoeXotica I don't know how, since Motoexotica actually SOLD this car, but your information is incorrect. The body on this car is NOT cast from an original "Adam West era mold". It is a contemporary replica. And it is NOT built on a Corvette chassis - which would have to be extended to be the right size - it is built on a 1976 Lincoln Town Car chassis. The Ford 460cid engine and transmission are original to the Lincoln.
I love this muscle car version of the '66 Batmobile with the wider rear tires and slight lift in the back maybe? I'm not a purist on this car, so id hafta have it just like the one in this video. what is the ballpark price for the batmobile? the exhaust sounds killer, too.

Feb 5th Oral Arguments will be heard in Mark Towle's Appeal after losing badly to DC Comics, after that point all replicas unlicensed being sold commercially could be subject to swift legal action. DC already won Huge, you guys that are selling this car should take notice of what's going down.

batmmannn Go on etsy, and please look at all the crap for sale relating to the character batman which is independently made. The Batmobile is art, please look up how art copyright works and how you can evade it. Modifications from the design are ways to avoid the original, which can evade copyright. The problem with your little Mark Towle is the fact he made a business out of making replicas to pin point accuracy for profit, different from making a 1 time thing and selling it which has different characteristics from he original.

Besides once this law comes down it is precedence for all other Trademark Owners that want their Creative works paid for when sold that means replica light sabres ...any replicas. Like I said you really know nothing about what you want to claim. One time things end when all providers of Kits can't sell their Kits without risking a slam dunk law suit that would be over in weeks not years, you are short sighted my friend. So after the ruling and you want to build one for yourself? Where are you going to get a Batmobile full sized kit? They won't be available.... Unless you have an under the table source and even then the Kit builders won't want to risk that you could be a buyer for DC. This isn't a one time builder. Paul Shere has been in DC's gun sites for a long time and has already gotten cease and desists as far as I have heard. Just a Matter of time. He's also now building the 89 Batmobiles in plain site on his Facebook page so regardless if he stops or not or has any assets DC can take, DC will have the power to take him down very quickly with this ruling and then if he continues he could see jail time as any of the builders could once there is a Court Ordered injunction against them. When you violate the orders of the Court you get contempt charges and Jail. The Game is changing and likely already over.
